NEW DELHI: Notwithstanding that ITes companies have the highest number of software engineers, major contribution towards open-source code writing is made by developers in product firms like Amazon, while services firms like TCS and Cognizant are fast catching up, says a survey. According to the survey by talent acquisition startup Belong, Amazon had the highest number of registered users on Github, followed by Cognizant, TCS and Microsoft. The survey covered 75,000 Indian engineers that have a presence on GitHub - one of the largest communities where software developers host and review code. Shannon O'Farrell-Molloy, who has a brain injury, can walk and talk and has come on extremely well in recent years, the court heard. Ms O'Farrell-Molloy, Kayle, Foulksmills, Co Wexford, through her mother, Sandra Maguire Molloy sued the HSE over the circumstances of her birth at Wexford General on July 18 1997. Nokia 9 render hits the web, seen with a 'new' design LATEST | Oct 13, 2017, 02.00AM IST NEW DELHI: HMD has not yet confirmed whether it will launch Nokia 9 or not but more evidence of handset's existence have started popping up. This time the device's render video has been put up by one of the tipsters on Twitter. Based on the video by @Onleaks, Nokia 9 will be sporting a dual rear camera much like the Nokia 8 but in a completely different design setup. The smartphone is seen with a small capsule rear camera design instead of an elongated one. The LED flash is placed outside the capsule towards the right side. In addition, the fingerprint sensor is seen placed at the back below the rear camera. At the front, the Nokia 9 is seen with dual curved screens, which take up the entire sides. We are not yet sure if the OS will be able to properly utilise them. What might come as a disappointment for Nokia fans is the handset's rear camera...

Reuters October 13, 2017 7:45am Islamic State suicide attackers have killed at least 50 people in a triple car bomb attack among a group of refugees in northeast Syria, a medical source in the Kurdish Red Crescent says. A large number of people were also injured in Thursday's attack, the source said. The attack took place at Abu Fas, near the border of Deir al-Zor and Hasaka provinces, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said, after earlier saying at least 18 people had died. The dead included refugees fleeing the fighting in Deir al-Zor as well as members of the Kurdish Asayish security force, the Observatory reported.
